The CSTV Collegiate Nationals is a first-of-its kind event that showcases national championships in the sports of snowboarding, wakeboarding, beach volleyball, boxing, whitewater kayaking, freeskiing, weightlifting and an adventure race. Other events surrounding the events are a flowboarding exhibition, a filmmaking competition and a music festival. San Diego is home to the flowboarding exhibition, beach volleyball, wakeboarding and film festival events.

The best volleyball teams in the country spent the fall traveling the road to Omaha. At the CSTV Collegiate Nationals, two of the star players from the top ranked teams will take their game from the boards to the beach. With tips from their college coaches, the pairs will battle it out on the sand for the Collegiate Nationals Beach Volleyball Championships. Teams scheduled to compete: Stanford, Nebraska, Florida, Utah, University of San Diego, Penn State, Minnesota and Texas.

USA Wakeboard and the Collegiate Wakeboard Association are proud to host the 2007 Jack in the Box Collegiate Nationals Wakeboard Finals in San Diego. The finals tournament will be an innovative 16-team invitational with teams going head-to-head for the title. Teams scheduled to compete: Florida, Sacramento State, Central Florida, Miami, North Carolina - Wilmington, Wisconsin - Milwaukee, Arizona State, Chico State, Wisconsin - Madison, Minnesota, Rollins College, Penn State, San Diego State and Point Loma Nazarene.

Twenty top film schools from across the country will gather for first-of-its-kind Collegiate Film School Championship. The collegiate filmmakers will be given the same script and let loose in San Diego for 60 straight hours to produce and shoot a creative five minute piece.
