honorary coaches program
From: Kent Aden, Amateur Sports Committee Chair (SDISC)
"Since 1937, the NAIA has administered programs and championships in proper balance with the overall educational experience. One of the key programs distinguishing NAIA Championships from NCAA events is the Honorary Coach program."
"The goal of the NAIA Honorary Coach Program is simple: to insure a tournament's participants have a memorable experience that will stand out as the highlight of their academic and athletic years."
"Last year I had the pleasure of serving as an Honorary Coach and had the time of my life."
