12/29/04 - The last few days of the year can only mean one thing here in San Diego, its Holiday Bowl time. This year's game promises not to disappoint with the Texas Tech Aggies going up against the Cal Golden Bears. Expect some fireworks to occur at Qualcomm Stadium on December 30, 2004.
The San Diego International Sports Council wishes everyone a happy New Year and we'll see you in 2005.
12/20/04 - The San Diego International Sports Council would like to congratulate the San Diego Chargers on clinching the AFC West. The Chargers, yesterday, brought home their eighth straight victory by beating the Cleveland Browns, 21-0.

12/17/04 - Three events within two weeks? No problem.
December started with a bang with the 2004 NAIA Women's Volleyball Championships hosted by Point Loma Nazarene University. On December 11, the Footlocker Cross Country Championships returned to Morley Field fielding the nation's top high school cross country athletes. Later on that day, the San Diego SLAM at Cox Arena closed our 2004 event schedule with great collegiate basketball.
The San Diego International Sports Council on December 16th hosted a luncheon welcoming the newest employee of the San Diego Charger family, Jim Steeg, at the San Diego Hall of Champions.
