10/09/07 - ESPN and Qualcomm Stadium will announce a new action sports event from the ESPN X Games team on Wednesday, October 10th at 11:00 AM: Qualcomm Stadium – Club 5, 9449 Friars Road, San Diego, CA 92108
In addition to Joe Moeller, President, San Diego International Sports Council, welcoming the new event to the city of San Diego, Tim Reed, ESPN Senior Director of Sports & Competition; Erik Stover, Qualcomm Stadium General Manager, as well as a number of Moto X superstars will be in attendance and available for Q&A and one-on-one interviews.

6/15/06 - The 2006 Chargers Kickoff Dinner will be held August 30th at Charger Park. Tickets on sale now.
3/27/06 - The San Diego Chargers open the 2006 National Football League season against their division rivals, the Oakland Raiders, on September 11th @ 7:15 PM (more info).
The rest of this year's schedule will be released in a few weeks, but the 2006 regular season opponents have already been decided (more info).

3/26/06 - McDonald's All American High School Basketball Games are this week starting off with Monday's Powerade Jam Fest (7:00 PM) at Peterson's Gym on the campus of San Diego State University. Tuesday at the Town & Country Hotel (5:30 PM) will be the awards banquet and silent auction. Then finally on Wednesday the games tip off with the Girls game starting at 4:30 PM and the Boys game starting at 7:00 PM.

3/15/06 - Cuba will go up against the Dominican Republic at 12:00 PM, Saturday 3/16/06, for the first semifinal game in the World Baseball Classic @ Petco Park. Japan vs. Korea closes out the day with their matchup starting at 7:00 PM.
The winner of both semifinal games will meet up in the finals on March 17, 2006 @ Petco Park with a 6:00 PM start time.
